Afternoon Tea at The Palace Downtown Dubai

IMG_2821
On a Saturday afternoon,

we stopped by Al Bayt at The Palace Downtown Dubai for their Afternoon Tea Buffet that takes place in an extremely splendid and royal setting with panoramic views, we were totally impressed. As we were seated, we received welcome drinks which were very fresh and exactly what you need in this weather, it changes your mood within seconds. We were then served the Royal Ice tea which has a unique taste baring the flavors of teas which resembles precious gems and then, The Palace Cappuccino which is a luxurious cup sprinkled with 22 carat of gold dust. The presentation of these two were perfectly Arabian yet modern with a touch of Royalty, just like the Arabian inspired treats. From the seating to the plating, everything was very palatial & Arabian inspired. It’s the perfect place to be at on a late afternoon for a meeting, a bachelorette party, a family gathering or even a girly chit chat. That’s what we loved about this setting it’s for all ages no matter how young or old, you can enjoy every bit of what the afternoon tea buffet has to offer. We didn’t expect such a wide spread of warm & cold starters along with a variety of scrumptious desserts that includes delectable scones with clotted cream, jams, cupcakes, and cheesecake; not forgetting the savories of seafood voulevant, smoked salmon on rye, finger sandwiches and more, served of course with your choice of tea or coffee and complemented with the sounds of a live violinist and resident harpist.

The perfect afternoon tea experience

priced at AED 160/- AED per head and takes place every Friday & Saturday from 2pm-6pm. For reservations: dine@thepalace-dubai.com
