I recently popped into Oberoi hotel
in business bay for a mini day-cation where I planned to visit their spa for a massage & then dinner at the hotel. I've been to Oberoi quite a few times because they have some of my favorite restaurants, but I had never been to the spa and so I was excited to see what they have to offer. I was booked in the couple's ritual therapy room and it was a 1 hour massage + 30 min bath after. The room was fantastic! The set up made it even better. Each therapy room has an in-built bathtub, private washroom, steam room & shower area. From the three massage options, Aroma, Swedish, and Balinese, I went for the aroma massage which helps to really just relax and sooth your mind, it's nothing too extreme in terms of pressure or techniques. If you're looking to go in to get rid of muscle pain or you prefer the pressure, etc then the Swedish or Balinese massage is definitely the better option. Right since the moment I entered the spa to when I left, my whole experience was so good! Service is one thing that can either make or break my experience at any place and the service at Oberoi's spa was phenomenal which made my whole experience even better, I expected no less than that. They also have a pretty pool and yoga area which is quite chill.

For some reason after massages,
I feel EXTREMELY hungry and so all I need is tea and then lots of food! So for our post massage meal aka dinner, we chose to dine at Nine7one – only because I’ve heard so many great things about it and had never been there before. I find the restaurant quite interesting because you’ll find such a good variety of food/cuisines on the menu, they have chicken tikka to wagyu ribs to pasta! It’s so cool but also puts you in a dilemma like it did to me, haha. The biryani tempted me and so did my ever lasting love for pasta so I just ended up ordering both. I was quite impressed with the food quality and taste. Everything tasted amazing! The pasta was great, they give you an option to “create your own pasta” which I think is pretty satisfying. The biryani was the typical Indian biryani – delicious. We ordered the mutton curry as well and that was probably the one dish I did not enjoy as much – it wasn’t like the usual, it was too different for my liking. To top it all, their dessert options were so good & so was the chocolate fondant we ordered at the end. Oh, and not to forget their service is brilliant!
