A Day at Rixos The Palm Dubai

What They Say...

Situated at the tip of The Palm Jumeirah’s crescent, Rixos The Palm Dubai is the UAE’s only luxury multi-concept resort. Enjoying the city’s most spectacular location, its 360° panoramic view spans the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf, iconic landmarks including Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab as well as the glittering skyline of the Dubai Marina and the remarkable lagoons and architecture of The Palm Jumeirah itself. Despite its secluded location at the end of The Palm Jumeirah’s crescent, Rixos The Palm Dubai is just a short distance away from Dubai’s shopping centers, landmarks, and other luxury Dubai hotels.

Checking In...

We've always seen and heard a lot about Rixos The Palm, not just through Instagram but also by word of mouth. It always looked to be a super chill resort and we knew we had to check it out sometime. We checked into Rixos a few days ago just to check it out and have a great weekend in town. It was nice driving down to Palm for a change, that area is just known for the most beautiful hotels, resorts, and villas. Our check-in process went super smooth. We were lucky enough to have one their sea view suites which peer over Dubai's skyline, it's incredible. We loved almost everything about the Hotel. From the beautiful suite to the extremely pleasant & welcoming staff who were just a phone call away if we needed anything. As you could probably already tell from all the snap chats and Instagram posts that we had a pretty good time at Rixos. The moment we arrived, we started off with a shoot as the weather looked pretty pleasant and we wanted to get as many good shots as we could before it would start raining. We then headed for brunch at one of their restaurants, A La Turca, click here for our detailed review. While staying at Rixos you can opt for an ultra-all-inclusive package which means you can relish in unlimited food & beverages at their different lounges & bars.

Our Experience at Rixos The Palm...

We finally headed to the suite to check it out and relax for a bit. The suite was nothing too extravagant it was simple and nice, the view was just beautiful, a 360 degree view of the sea, it was unreal! The family suite includes a hidden washroom just as you enter, a dining area (with a mini/maxi bar + a coffee machine), a fairly large living room with a tv, then the bedroom with another tv and a walk-in closet + bathroom. The bedroom had a balcony too, so you can really just sit back, relax, and take in the amazing view. The balcony was definitely our favorite spot, it felt so peaceful and quiet especially with this beautiful weather. The bathroom was huge, it was a marble bathroom with a deep-soak bathtub, separate glass-enclosed shower & WC. The walk-in closet included 2 four door cupboards and also a cute vanity mirror with a full view window right beside it for plenty of natural light, perfect for doing your makeup.

Things to do at Rixos The Palm...

They have some super impressive beach clubs like I Chill Beach Lounge, Nu-Air Shisha lounge, and El Chiringuito Beach Club (Free entrance door policy applies. Food and drinks are subject to extra charge). These places are super chill and lit at night. We certainly made full use of our ultra-all-inclusive package. We had drinks by the pool (open for all hotel guests), unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the beach or pool cabana only because we were having such a good time in the pool. I Chill lounge is just a few steps away from the pool. We headed there after the sunset just to check it out and relax with a few friends. It’s a very cozy and private kind of a lounge with comfy seating and again, a spectacular view from your seat. El Chiringuito is another great spot, they have live music, outdoor seating, a private dining area and sea view. This place totally gives you the Ibiza vibes! If you’re not so much into beach clubs and things like that, there’s always water sports you can enjoy. The non-motorized water sports is free for hotel guests. We opted to spend some time in the water as the weather was very chilled out and comfortable, not too cold and not too hot, the sun was just behind the clouds, so of course we decided to paddle boat. It was exactly what we needed. Due to the chilly weather, there was absolutely no one making use of such activities, so it definitely gave us a sense of privacy and the freedom to paddle away at the entire shoreline. Although we got pretty exhausted and it felt like a mini leg workout it was totally worth it. We then went back to the suite to freshen up and get ready for dinner at L'Olivio. Another thing that’s a must, while staying at Rixos or in fact any hotel/resort in Dubai, is to get some great photos! Especially if you have a fantastic room view. With all that being said, I think Rixos The Palm is great for families, tourists or even a resident if you just want to have a good weekend getaway, right in Dubai.
