What we loved: Per Te’s best selling dishes are on the Ramadan Menu, which is why we would really recommend you try out Per Te during Ramadan especially if you haven’t been here yet. Additionally, they make their dips in house (the one that comes with the Soft Focaccia bread) very delicious and fresh, you just can’t stop eating it. I personally loved the fresh Creamy Burrata. I want to go back to Per Te just for the Burrata and the bread with the dips! Similarly, the Lamb Chops are well cooked, just the way we like them. But if you don’t like it well done, make sure to tell your server at the beginning of the meal to make it the way you would like it. Lastly coming to the desserts, just the simplicity of the Chocolate Fondant makes it a perfect end to your meal. The Tiramisu, unlike the standard Tiramisus you eat elsewhere, has a bit more of a coffee taste to it, actually a bit too much of coffee but if you’re a coffee lover like me, you would like Per Te’s different style of Tiramisu. On the whole it’s a good compact Ramadan Menu, we could be back for!
What we didn’t like as much: The sauce on the Margherita Pizza could have had a little more flavor to it. One of us didn’t like the Semifreddo, whereas the other two loved it so it really depends on personal taste.
What we recommend:
- Creamy Burrata
- Fired Prawns
- Lamb Chops
- Truffle Mushroom Risotto
Ambiance: The restaurant was pretty relaxed, peaceful and very quiet during the day. Per Te is quite spacious. They also have a separate cute seating if you just want to stop by for tea and small bites.
More on Per Te…
Their Ramadan Menu consists of the Appetizers mentioned above along with a choice of one of their many main dish choices, and dessert of course for AED 150 served from sunset to 11pm. You can choose to dine at their branch in Jumeirah or they have another one in Bay avenue, Business Bay which is much easier to locate.
