Al Grissino, that launched about 3-4 months back, is Italian fine dining at its best and without a doubt Milan’s “it” restaurant in Dubai. As you leave the elevator and enter Al Grisinno, right across there’s a spacious bar and lounge very nicely designed with beautiful interiors. And then towards the left of the bar there’s another dining area very largely spaced and sophisticated.

Service: Very friendly, helpful and well versed with the menu. There was always someone around when needed. Stefano, the executive Chef helped a lot from our questions on the dishes.
What we loved: Varying vegetarian options (which is pretty uncommon in other restaurants). We had a variety of bread served which was extremely fresh and delicious, we were offered different kinds of bread, from brown to spicy covered bread sticks before the appetizers along with a mouth watering tuna mayo dip. From all the restaurants where fresh bread is served before hand, this was definitely the best we have tried so far. Good seafood with great diversity in their variety of food as well as a very filling quantity. The starters alone had a lot of variety. Going through the menu, there were almost 4-5 pages of just appetizers. Although, one of the appetizers had a fruit topping to it and one of us didn’t particularly like it, whereas the other two of us loved it. So it is really up to your preference and taste. The salmon appetizer was a bit raw for our liking, which Stefano had told us beforehand, and we were in a bit of a doubt before eating it, but much to our surprise it tasted really good. The choice of appetizers served to us was very delicious. Furthermore, the view is spectacular as you eat with very low music in the background. You see the whole Burj Khalifa with the Dubai Mall & The Address Hotel view. Executive chef, Stephano personally suggested us with dishes according to our tastes and assisted us through each dish as it came to our table. Fresh authentic Italian food, with an exclusive appetizer serving manner. In order for us to try as many of the appetizers as possible we were each served one of each type, instead of a whole serving of one type. This made it easier for us to taste as much as we could without getting too full. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, this is it. The pricing too is pretty fair..
What we dint love as much: The menu was a bit too long to order from, so be sure to get help from one of the waiters with your order according to your preference.
Ambiance: Attractive, with interiors of turquoise, gold and white. They have the whole floor only dedicated to Al Grissino. During late Lunch hours it’s quite empty, maybe because it was a weekday, nevertheless its quite comfortable. Although, evenings seem to be booked, and it’s good to have a reservation before going.
