Service: Even though the place was crowded, every table was assigned a server. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

What we loved: It wasn’t a buffet style brunch, which I much appreciated. You get a variety of dumplings (duck, vegetarian, chicken, shrimp) all served to your table. The spicy and salty edamame is a good start to the brunch followed by some delicious calamari. We weren’t able to finish the calamari, the serving portions were pretty sizable. Other than getting up and getting your rice / noodles, you wouldn’t have to get up till 4.30 pm, unless you wanted the crispy duck wraps that’s made at the live cooking station (it’s worth the walk). For the mains, we got a range of scrumptious sushi and maki rolls all served together. Halfway through the mains, we were already quite filled up. For desserts, we had an assortment to choose from. All the while having minions, panda’s and emoji’s walking around for you to take pictures with. Indeed a cute added touch.

What we didn’t like as much:  We didn’t like the selection of desserts served to us. They could have been better. Maybe something more chocolate or ice cream included perhaps. Another thing we didn’t like is that it’s a bit too dark while eating food. You can’t even really see the food much.. The lighting could have been better.

Ambiance: Super chilled out vibes. The music upstairs is commercial / rnb. Always a full house.

More on Toy Brunch:

Unlimited food and drinks 1:30-4:30pm. Big boy toys (AED 450 includes house beverages) and Ultimate playground (AED 550 includes bubbly and house beverages). We loved how there was a dress code for brunch, and we love the dress code which is the vibe of a New York club, I’d definitely suggest dressing up!
