Staff: Extremely sweet and helpful.

What we loved: They have a wide range of mocktails which had very interesting names. We would definitely be back to try them all! The presentation of the drinks were on point. We went for the Hanbito and the Red Bush which is Cederberg rooibos, raspberry, passion fruit & pomegranate syrup. If you love lemon mint, you will definitely like the Hanbito as it is a mixture of lemon, mint, red grape & lavender. If you love berry mixed drinks then the Red Bust is definitely a must try. The marinated baby chicken was the best dish on the whole business lunch menu.

What we didn’t like as much: The quantity of food was very little. They could improve quantity wise. Moreover, the business lunch menu is extremely limited, and we expected it to include sushi perhaps, as a main! We definitely wouldn’t come back for the business lunch, but maybe for dinner as we have heard a lot of great things about their food. For some reason, there was something we did not like about almost every dish. For example, the crispy Calamari was good, but we have tasted better, the Chicken Yakitori was delicious, very juicy but too saucy. Similarly, the butternut, spinach, feta & peanut dumpling didn’t really go according to our taste. The prawn puff was okay but too fried. On the whole, only the Calamari was a good option for appetizers. We were pretty content with the duck salad we ordered in terms of presentation & taste but there was barely any duck pieces in the salad which was a bit disappointing.

For the desserts we chose from a choice of 6 or 7 desserts from the main menu. We ordered the chocolate matcha fondant and then Miso Caramel Cheesecake. The chocolate matcha fondant was delicious until it got to the pistachio part, we didn’t really like the taste of the pistachio mixed with chocolate however, the Miso Caramel Cheesecake was pretty decent, it was super sweet and tasty along with the dark chocolate ice cream. The presentation of both these desserts were excellent.

What we recommend:

  • Hanbito Mocktail (lemon, mint, red grape, lavender & soda )
  • Red bush Mocktail (cederburg rooibos, rasberry, passion fruit & pomegranate syrup)
  •  The marinated Baby Chicken
  • The Chocolate Matcha Fondant
  • Miso Caramel Cheesecake

Ambiance: Wonderful interiors, shows the amount of work put into the smallest parts of the restaurant. Pretty empty for a weekday afternoon.
