Salon Review | Zuri Beauty Lounge, Dubai

 Zuri Beauty Lounge Dubai
So diving right into it… we had quite a nice experience at the newly launched salon, Zuri Beauty Lounge. We each got done a mani-pedi & a haircut with a blow dry. Initially, we were extremely nervous because we don’t usually like experimenting with our hair and so you can imagine the dreadful feeling you go through before & during the haircut, also by someone you aren’t familiar with. We did indeed bravely go ahead, but only because we had each grown out our hair. I must say it did go well for me (Neha), whereas, Pooja wasn’t quite happy with her haircut at Zuri. She felt the hair(s) were not cut proportionately, it was very much different than what we’re used to from our other regular hairstylists. She would not recommend getting a haircut from this salon if your hair is short or have a very specific or unique style, as the results were inconsistent, especially considering it was the same stylist. Completely contradicting the haircut experience was the blow dry. It was absolutely perfect to the t. The hairstylist seemed quite confident too, which never hurts. She was very gentle with how she handled each section and did not leave out any strands to be less than flawless. After using a couple of heat protect and serum infused products, she moved to lightly dry all parts of my head. While working on each hair, she only blow dried as much was essential and didn’t try to overdo it. One bad thing I notice in many salons is that they over heat each piece of hair so as not to waste time in realizing it wasn’t enough later. The end result was surprisingly delightful and pleasing to the eyes. It also immediately gained compliments from others around. The manicure & pedicure was quite relaxing, I love how they used a special scrub on our feet felt to remove the dead skin while refreshingly exfoliating the skin making it super smooth. You have a specialist nail technician to work on your nails, which is quite assuring, to be honest. I definitely see myself visiting this salon every now and then for a mani-pedi and the ultimate blow dry, they’re absolutely amazing!!! To top it all off, the staff is extremely sweet and helpful along with being good at what they do.
