We recently stepped into The White Room Spa

for a pampering session. We had heard lots about the spa but had never really checked it out until recently. We all went in for different treatments. I went for a facial and my usual acrylic refill, while Pooja went in for her eye lash extensions, and Rithika for a paraffin mani-pedi. The girls weren’t the easiest to communicate with but nonetheless, they were sweet. Let’s just discuss, how impressed and satisfied I am with my skin post the ‘Hydralessence Facial’ by Fatima at The White Room Spa. I’m not really a facial person, I always thought something would go wrong and so I never let anyone do any sort of thing to my face (lol.) However, I was pretty fed up with how dull my face had been looking lately (+ the blackheads!!!) and so I decided to try a hydrating facial. I knew I wanted to go for something mild and not too strong. Fatima started off with cleansing my face and then applying all sorts of sprays, masks, and creams. It’s basically long lasting and deep hydrating facial which you can choose year round as soon as the skin starts to show symptoms of dehydration. Results: The skin is renewed, soothed and rebalance; softness and beauty are restored. The duration is about 75 minutes and costs 330aed. Post the facial, you feel like your skin is completely clean, SUPER soft, and gorgeous. So happy with the end result! I’d definitely recommend their facials (by Fatima.)

Coming to the nails…

They have a cute little all white area for the mani and pedis. Unfortunately, Rithika wasn’t too content with her ‘paraffin’ manicure and pedicure because the paraffin lasted only about 5 mins which was quite surprising. It usually lasts for about 15-30mins for the full effect. She didn’t feel a huge difference post the treatment, which was obviously a little upsetting. Moving on, the girl who did mine and Pooja’s acrylic was the same and she pretty much did it in the same manner. She did a pretty decent job. Finally, it was time for Pooja to re-fill her lash extensions. She was pleased with the extensions although, we felt like they should have had a lash specialist or someone different than the regular girls do it, that way you’re fully confident and satisfied with the end result. Quick tip *make sure to only go in to White Room Spa if you have a good amount of spare time as each of their service/treatment take quite a while 🙂

*Don’t forget, The White Room Spa also has a variety of offers every month!
