of the new Tory Burch boutique, at City Walk in Dubai, Tory Burch LLC hosted a women’s empowerment event
at the store, on the 14th of April. The evening was hosted by The Female Network and Shereen Mitwalli, where attendees included influential women and influencers, who would benefit from an evening of networking with fellow women in business. The evening began with Shereen talking about Tory Burch’s inspiring story as well as her own story that led to her in this line of work. Dalia Dogmoch Soubra, food editor of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia & author of cookbook “Food, Love and Life from Dalia’s Kitchen;” and Nayla El Khaja, the first female film producer in Dubai, also spoke about their stories which were truly inspiring & motivating! As we were taking a tour around the launch event, music was played by DJ Tala Samman. They also had the talented fashion illustrator Samar Sadik, who created personalized sketches for guests as a remembrance of their visit to the launch. The event aligned with the mission of the Tory Burch Foundation, which launched in 2009, to empower women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital, education, mentoring and networking opportunities. A wide assortment of the Tory Burch collection is available at the City Walk boutique, including ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags and accessories. The launch proved to be quite a riveting evening.
