Our experience at The Late Brunch...

Service: Super sweet but a bit too short staffed. They were just about 2-3 servers and so we had to ask for our food/drinks at least 2-3 times before it arrived.

What we loved: The food at Waka is something you just cannot stop eating. The night brunch concept is definitely a little different than the usual brunches. You get your starters from the ceviche station (unlimited) and then one main dish & one dessert per person, with unlimited drinks. What's nice is that, they even offer to get you the ceviches to your table instead of having you walk and get it yourself. While waiting for the mains, they serve some guacamole (the best in town). For mains, we had the baby chicken and their salad with truffle, their truffle is absolutely amazing! All the options for the mains were pretty good and so was their dessert selection. Overall, it's quite a fun brunch to go to with a group of friends. Always been a fan of this restaurant!

What we didn’t like as much: We've always loved everything about Waka, from the food to the interiors to the staff. However, the concept of the night brunch was not something we were fully satisfied with. We expected it to be like the standard brunches where there's an option of more food. Another thing, the night was quite busy and so the servers were a bit inattentive which was upsetting.

Ambiance: Quite loud and busy on a Friday night. Super fun if you're going with a group of friends.
